There are more applications than spaces available for SAE Auckland courses. As a result, from February 2020 onwards, SAE Auckland will be applying a selection criteria.
i. Academic Record: Copy of the highest academic achievement at the time of application for review.
ii. English Language Proficiency: International applicants must meet standard NZQA minimum English Proficiency Outcomes e.g IELTS (academic score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5) or equivalent score through TOEFL, Cambridge English Examinations, Pearson Test of English, IESOL or Language Cert.
iii. Adult Entry: International applicants aged 20 years or above who have not met the General Admission or entry requirements for a programme but whose skills, education or work experience indicate that they have a reasonable chance of success may be eligible for Special Admission. Special admission will be granted at the discretion of the Academic Manager or designated nominee. Such applicants may be required to successfully complete a foundation, bridging or tertiary introduction programme as a condition of entry into higher level programmes.
Applicants must submit an example of their creative work, e.g. links to a SoundCloud, Spotify etc or video links to YouTube, Vimeo etc.
