SAE Creative Media Institute (SAE), a leading provider of creative media education, is proud to continue its partnership with Aotearoa Music Producers Series (AMPS), an organisation that provides audio workshops and seminars with the finest producers and engineers from around the world.
The most recent opportunity to come from this partnership is an exclusive seminar for SAE alumni and students with the renowned artist, writer, and award-winning producer and mixer, David Wrench. David Wrench, based in London, is a multifaceted talent known for his exceptional work with some of the most influential and innovative artists in the music industry, including Frank Ocean, Blur and The Pretenders. The event, which will be held on campus at SAE, promises an insightful discussion and Q&A session, providing attendees with a unique glimpse into Wrench’s illustrious career and the inner workings of the music production industry.
“Partnering with AMPs opens a world of opportunities for our students and alumni” said SAE Industry Liaison and Career Advisor, Dave Johnson. “Wherever possible, we aim to bring our alumni community together for networking and upskilling opportunities, and the AMPS partnership lets us do just that by bringing some of the most sought-after music producers and engineers in the world to our SAE Auckland campus for these exclusive events”.
In May of this year, in collaboration with AMPS, SAE Auckand was also honoured to host a seminar with Clint Murphy. Clint is a multi-platinum, award winning producer, engineer, songwriter and SAE Auckland alumni, who has worked with the likes of Manic Street Preachers and 50 Cent, to name a few.
SAE Auckland, recently awarded a prestigious NZQA Category 1 rating in their latest External Evaluation Report – the highest possible category rating for a tertiary institute – teaches Diplomas and Degrees in Audio Production, Music Production, Screen Production and Songwriting.
