How to Enrol
Enrolling with SAE is simple and our staff will be pleased to assist every step of the way!

Please order the Enrolment Documentation and brochures below; sign and return the Enrolment Form to SAE Institute.

Once you have completed the required forms, please post your enrolment documentation to the Admissions Officer at the Institute - the address is available on our Contacts page
Enrolment Process Checklist
The Process:
- Choose the course you wish to enrol in. Note the different starting dates/class times.
- Complete the Enrolment Form and Demographic Details. Print clearly in pen.
Do not leave out any details. - Read the Registration Agreement on the reverse side of the Enrolment Form. Sign it.
- Sign the Enrolment Form and Demographic Details.
- Include the following copies:
- Highest education
- IELTS-test/language proof if English is not your first language
- Evidence of age: copy of either Birth certificate, passport or photo driver’s licence
- To qualify as a domestic student: Certified copy of one of the following:
- Birth certificate with place of birth stated NZ, Cook Islands, Tokelau or Niue
- New Zealand passport
- A statement of Whakapapa, including date of birth, countersigned by a kaumatua
- certificate of citizenship or letter of confirmation
- Overseas passport with residency stamp
- Transcript of successfully completed Diploma In Audio Engineering (if enrolling into the Degree)
- Make out a cheque for the Registration Fee or Administration Fee, payable to “SAE”
- Send or personally deliver all documents to SAE Institute.
- You will receive an “Offer of a Place” letter and an Enrolment letter.
- Sign the “Offer of Place” letter. Return the signed “Offer of Place” letter to SAE Institute.
=> You are now formally enrolled and will receive further correspondence from us. You have the option of withdrawing from the program prior to the eighth calendar day from commencement of the program.
- Your Checklist: Enrolment Form filled in completely and signed
- Registration Agreement read, understood and signed
- Proof of Age (Copy)
- Proof of Education (Copy)
- Proof of Citizenship for domestic students (Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport)
- Proof of language skills if English is your second language (IELTS)
- Copy of successfully completed Diploma In Audio Engineering Transcript (if enrolling in years 2 & 3 of the bachelor degree)
- Cheque for Registration Fee or Administration Fee
